Description:
This position is responsible for the design and analysis of the machine frame linkage kinematic and/or structural systems in support of an update to the Medium Wheel Loader Catalyst product. Responsibilities will include a combination of product design (utilizing ProE) and analysis to robustly develop new structures/linkages for production. This position will be responsible for performing complex analysis work, applying multi-disciplined optimization methodologies and identifying and resolving design problems. Major job focus is on technical delivery. This person will work directly with multiple worldwide product groups and manufacturing teams, worldwide suppliers and other machine system teams. Decisions made by this person will be integral to ensuring the success of the project team, and it's delivery of the project. He/she may significantly impact negotiations with suppliers, costs, customer perception and the leveraging of new technologies. This position contains growth opportunity to a team leader position. Prior linkage and/or structures design or analysis experience is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
Desired: B.S. Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering; 5-10 years design experience with 4-7 years of Pro/E and 2 years of Finite Element Analysis or CLINK analysis; Highly knowledgeable in linkage and/or structural design and analysis, manufacturing processes and welding; Mechanical components and systems design experience; Concurrent Product and Process Design experience; Effective written and oral communication skills.

Additional Information:
This position is in direct support of the Medium Wheel Loaders Catalyst NPI program. Depending on the candidates qualifications, the position would have development & design responsibilities for the Linkage kinematic and structural systems or the Engine End Frame & Non-Engine End Frame structural systems.
