Sr. Engineer Apps Dev

As a Sr. Consultant within the Demand-to-Stock department, your primary responsibility will be to manage small to medium-sized projects focused in the SAP R/3 manufacturing/warehousing sectors. You will work with the plant-based materials management and manufacturing organizations to develop and support the successful implementation of the SAP R/3 ECC 5.0 software at remote manufacturing sites, while also being a member of the Great Valley Center of Excellence. Projects may be comprised of larger programs associated with Wyeth's ongoing global roll-out of the SAP application, or smaller tactical projects focused on continuing improvement initiatives. You will interface frequently with management at all levels, including senior management. You will be a primary liaison point for the SAP APO and SAP ABAP teams. Gathering, interpreting and translating user-requirements into business process flows and ultimately to fully - functional business processes within the Wyeth SAP application, is vital within this role. Strong SAP WM knowledge including integration points to PP-PI and MM is required, as well as solid Project management skills.This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience - an MBA is preferred. Must have a minimum of 7 years SAP R/3 WM experience, as well as 3-5 years manufacturing/MRP experience. Candidate should have participated in at least two (2) SAP complete life-cycle implementations. Position requires demonstrated leadership and Project management skills. Pharmaceutical experience preferred. Must have a deep understanding of SAP's integration points among WM, PP-PI, MM and QM. Must be capable of translating complex business requirements into executable business process flows and technical specifications. Excellent knowledge of the SAP system, and experience with SAP customizing is a must. Experience working is a validated pharmaceutical environment is required. Understanding of the integration with the core R/3 product and its ancillary add-ons (BSB, Business Warehouse, APO, etc.) is desired.
