Sr Engineer Analyst

Job Description: Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a Fortune 500 Company, is the largest employee-owned research and engineering company in the US. We provide information technology, systems integration, and eSolutions worldwide. The Missile Defense Operation is looking an Senior Engineer/Analyst to provide modeling and analysis support. Candidate must have some familiarity with advanced technology systems. The analysis support required includes architecture trade-off and force mix studies, systems analysis of weapons, sensors and BMC3 and analysis of threat sensitivities. Work effort will include utilizing existing models SAIC and GOTS developed to support complex system and architecture level representations. Candidate will support detailed trade studies and analysis during the project They will be expected to write some new code, and work in a structured modeling environment. The candidate must also possess experience in modeling and simulation of DoD systems, preferably sensors, weapons and BMC3 systems.

Education: Masters Degree or higher in Physical Science or Engineering, Aerospace degree desired.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills: The selected candidate should have at least 15 years general technical experience, 10 years specific MDA engineering experience. The selected candidate should be proficient in MS Office. The candidate should have a strong analysis background, strong technical initiative, experience in operational and technical analysis of defense systems, along with strong experience in modeling and simulation background. Experience in one or more: Unix, Linux, NT and Windows. Excellent people and organization skills are required. Ability to work in a rapid paced environment is important. All applicants for this position must possess at least a Secret Clearance in order to be considered for employment.

Desired Skills: Knowledge of sensors, weapons systems and BMC3 system analysis is desired. Experience in development of high-level DoD briefing material. BMDO experience is a plus.
