Sr. C#/C++ Developer

SUMMARY:

We have an immediate opportunity for a senior level Microsoft Visual C#/C++ .NET Lead Application Developer with extensive experience in full-lifecycle application development, from business process mapping to release management. Excellent background in application and environment design, development methodologies, and project management concepts.

The purpose of this position is to provide senior level programming on the Rapid Solutions Group application systems. The position will have high level of responsibility, room for growth, interaction with other areas including QA and Production, cutting edge technology, in an exciting, challenging and growing environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Follow policies and procedures for software applications design, development, testing, and documentation.
•Analyze requirements and architect new software system designs.
•Participate and contribute in team driven design development.
•Interact with multiple partner development groups (internal and external to RSG), providing guidance to members of the team.
•Provide technical leadership in supporting software and hardware systems.
•Participate in complex software projects and interface with other business units as needed.
•Create and update documentation of systems software and hardware.
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS REQUIRED:

•Microsoft development technologies: Visual C#, C++, .NET, ADO, T-SQL, MSMQ
•Windows n-tier application design and development with Microsoft SQL Server
•XML and XSL programming
•WISE Enterprise Installer scripting experience
•UML Design experience a plus
•Java/J2EE experience a plus
•PostScript/AFP/PDF language programming experience a plus
•Streamweaver experience a plus

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years development experience with Visual Studio based applications (at least 1 year .NET)
3+ years development experience with MS SQL Server
1+ years experience with C#
1+ years experience with C++
Print shop experience a plus
