Sr. Apps Systems Engineer - Business Rules

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Business Rule Engineers to be part of groundbreaking projects and new system development!This senior development position will support the technical design and implementation of automated decisioning systems through the use of business rule engine technology. Applicants must have prior technical experience in developing rule based systems.Individuals will work closely with a variety of other teams including Domain Experts, Business Analysts, Rule Architects, and IT Architects to design automated decisioning systems supporting consumer finance.Responsibilities will include supporting the development of business rule requirements, analysis of rule requirements, technical design and development of business rules, adhering to proper architectural guidelines for development, unit testing of developed code, supporting defect resolution, and ongoing change management. This position may also act as a lead for lower level analysts in support of business rule authoring, testing, and implementation.Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills:

Works closely with project managers to define and develop project deliverables.

Provides strategic consultancy support to assigned internal business unit customers in defining and enabling rule system development.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:At least 5 years relevant IT experience including technical design and implementation of automated decisioning systems using commercially available business rules engines such as Blaze Advisor, ArtEnterprise, or ILog JRules.Demonstrated knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and application to the business rules solution space (BRDLC).Prior application development experience using object oriented techniques.
* Preferred Skills:Prior experience in the consumer finance industry, such as mortgage banking, credit analysis, credit scoring and underwriting.
