Spinform Welding Engineer

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will provide engineering support to metal spin-forming operations for the production of catalytic converters. The Engineer will be responsible for managing catalyst changes and other product design changes; Create and maintain PFMEA and Control Plans for production processes; Write and debug programs for multiple-axis CNC spin-forming control systems; Program visions systems and non-contact gauging systems for spin-forming processes; Program robotic material handling systems for spin-form production cells; Specify, procure, and implement tooling, process, and equipment changes; Manage capital projects for the purchase and retrofit of spin-forming capacity; Coordinate the introduction of new purchased parts and catalysts into production; Plan and execute projects for improvements in scrap, quality, productivity, and uptime; Conduct and deliver all required PPAP deliverables.~cb~
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum of six years of experience in controls and manufacturing engineering. The candidate will have experience in mandrel-less metal spin-forming technology including program development, tooling development, and equipment launch; Able to program AB Series 9 CNC, ABSLC500, AB Panelview MMI and Motoman XRC controls and should have some experience with VFD¿s of and brand or type.
