Space Systems Engineer

Key Role: Support the space exploration program and perform challenging assignments as a systems engineer. Perform software assurance or system engineering or command, control, communication development, or assessment of requirements. Develop, assess, and verify new requirements for the program’s architecture. Develop and assess technical, programmatic, mission, schedule, and cost risk management, the viability of system-level requirements, requirements verification, and reconciliation of the parent and child relationship requirement. Work from specifications to develop or modify moderately complex project tasks to specialized technology problems. Analyze performance indicators, including response time and a number of transactions to ensure the efficient use of resources and attainment of the operating objectives. Upgrade data handling and conversion and storage on the system as appropriate.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with NASA, commercial, or DoD space work
-Experience with spacecraft systems engineering, mission formulation, concept development, requirements management, design, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
