Software Test Engineer – Seattle – Full Time

They have been a privately held company since 2000 and its founders and current management include professionals possessing extensive experience in the Technology and Financial sectors.

Do you want a large degree of responsibility and autonomy in the daily performance of your job? You will need to be able to work on all aspects of our Client’s code base including developing innovative Web 2.0 style features for the front-end as well as Developing and maintaining the critical backend infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our Client's web based software services (running PHP and MySQL in a Linux environment). Responsibilities include defining and driving strategic and tactical test vision and strategies, reviewing specifications, defining test criteria for new features/functionality, writing test plans and cases, developing automated test scripts, executing test passes, verifying test results and filing bug reports.
REQUIREMENTS
•A BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
•2+ years experience with web application testing.
•Working experience and knowledge of databases.
•Familiarity with SNMP and IP-based communications, HTML, JavaScript, PHP,
•MySQL, C/C++ is a plus.
•Experience working with test automation tools is a plus.
