JOB DESCRIPTION:
Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Devise unit testing methodology for testing of application code,
Understand the business rules of the applications
Perform Unit Tetsing on application code based on business rules and specifications and meet deadlines
Test performance of compiled code and benchmark results
Create test plans and test case scenarios based on specifications
Document test results
Follow the release cycle methodology and corporate policies and procedures
Work with application developers to get good specifications and understanding of application and code
Create documentation for test manuals
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of functions such as Order Processing, Shipping, Receiving etc.,
Experience with Testing and Quality Assurance tools, Trouble Reports or the like,
Knowledge of the Mainframe to check input and output files,
Working knowledge of scanners, printers, etc.
Some Programming (basic skill level),
Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows,
Excellent oral and written communication and problem solving skills
