Job Summary

Functionally manages enterprise software offshore testing teams. Ensures that the company’s products meet quality management standards and other reliability standards. Researches and implements new or improved testing methods, processes, tools, and systems. Develops and coordinates appropriate test procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and executes as an individual and through offshore resources
Detailed test plans that present the goals of testing, test systems and a final schedule
Assists project teams with approach and provides work leadership to test groups
Helps perform complex testing of products
Plans, schedules and implements automated testing projects
Assists resources with cross-product and technical issues
Runs progress reports for all projects and ensures that the data in the database are accurate
Detailed documentation plans that present the goal of documentation, audience, components of documentation, page design, detailed outlines and a final schedule
Provides resources with ongoing technical and application training
Assists external resources to determine what needs to be tested based on the changes made by programmers during the project
Manages project activities of offshore testing resources
Researches and implements new documentation and testing methods and tools in order to maximize operations efficiency
Performs testing and writing duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science. Six to nine years of experience in development, research or product testing.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Excellent understanding of product. Proficient in testing products according to company’s QA process; able to train in procedures. Understands entire development process, including design, programming and documentation. Familiar with relevant business issues as they impact overall project plans. Excellent communication skills. Excellent time management and problem solving skills.
