The successful candidate will be a key contributor for the engineering and architecting of infrastructure and back office applications. The individual will be responsible for coordinating and driving system integration and executing/delivering throughout the system development life cycle. This individual will work with a cross-functional technical team in the development of complex systems, system requirements, system design, development testing and evaluation to include verification and validation activities in a research and development environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Individual considered to fill this position must be well versed in the development of software/system integration of various commercial and government off the shelf products/tools, technical writing/documentation, system architecture design, hardware configuration items and software related issues.

Desired knowledge in foreign language OCR, foreign language conversions, search engine and taxonomy/oncology integration as well as continued growth in advancements in technology. Fortune 100 R&D experience or University R&D background would be a differentiating factor.

• U.S. citizenship required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• 3+ years technical experience in advanced technology projects
• Knowledgeable of Research and Development and advanced technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to include strong interpersonal, problem solving, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skill sets
• Advanced skills in problem-solving, coping with difficult situations or people, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
