Software Engineer or Developer

American Systems Corporation's Software Development Group is seeking a Software engineer to add to its growing software development group.
The software engineer will be responsible for leading the development of internal information systems projects that will automate business operations for American Systems Corporation. Additionally, the position will entail performing software design and development projects for both government and commercial clients.· Perform requirements collection with stakeholders and perform requirements analysis· System integration for both custom and COTS solutions, to include front end integration with back end systems· Assist in evaluation, selection, and implementation of COTS solutions· Development of custom software applications to reside within the corporate intranet.· Deploy systems to production environments· Perform OO analysis and design· Provide ongoing application supportThe candidate must be a self-starter and able to work in a dynamic team, who is able to learn and grow with the position. REQUIREMENTS
TECHNICAL
• 4-10 years of software development experience.
• 4-10 years of object oriented analysis and design.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft.Net
• 3+ years experience with C#, ASP.net, and ADO.NET
• 3+ years experience with MS SQL Server
• 3+ years experience with XML and Web Services
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server and Windows SharePoint services desired
• Experience with report development applications such as Actuate and Crystal Reports desired
• Experience using a variety of requirements elicitation techniques (including interviews and facilitated meetings).
• Aptitude to learn and understand changes in software development process, procedures and methodologies
• Experience as team lead.
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Management or Engineering preferred
• Microsoft MCSD certification(s) desired but not required
• Active Security Clearance desired, but not requiredINTERPERSONAL
