Cerner Galt is seeking a Software Engineer - dsExchange/Halo Developer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to support maintenance of their dsNavigator and Halo products. Halo is a web-based, data mining application used by major pharmaceutical companies to analyze safety related, prescription drug data. dsNavigator is a web based dictionary and coding management application used to code reaction and other data for clinical trials and post market safety reporting. The Software Engineer - dsExchange/Halo Developer will work as a member of a small team and report to the lead product Engineer. Both the Halo and dsNavigator application architectures utilize Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Basic 6, and C++ development technologies. Both applications also include a sophisticated user interface that requires strong HTML and JavaScript skills. The position will also include supporting development of new functionality and related products using .Net technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic, small team environment, and possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the following technologies:

HTML/ JavaScript

Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASPs)

Visual Basic 6.0

VB Script

SQL (Oracle preferred)

ASP.NET, VB.NET

Additional skills and/or experience in the following areas will also be considered:

Drug Product Safety

FDA Adverse Event Database (AERS)

Biostatistics

MedDRA

E2B
