Software Engineer T4

Purpose: Aerotek currently has a need for a Software Engineer to work in the Fairfield county area.
Applicants should have BS Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or equivalent required with advanced degrees preferred. The experience level is a minimum of 8 years in Software design, development, and integration. The candidate shall have an understanding of Radar and Real Time Embedded Software development. Candidate should have experience with the following interfaces; 1553, Hotlink, Ethernet, and Fiber. Working knowledge of C/C++, VxWorks, Power PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and MATLAB is a plus.
Responsible for the design and development of software systems employed in airborne, ground-based and shipboard radar systems. Will be involved in all phases of sofware development form working with systems engineers to develop and document requirements, to design, code and unit test, to software integration and test, to support of system integration and test, to field support activities.
