Determine functional requirements for aircraft simulators, provide definition and planning during systems analysis phase. Design, develop, code, integrate & test simulation software to meet requirements. Apply software engineering principles to complete assigned tasks within schedule commitments. Understand and implement techniques for software reuse. Complete work with only general technical supervision. Participate in design reviews. Prepare, check and coordinate release of documentation to appropriate program and company standards. Communiate status/issues along with solutions/recommendations to lead engineers.

Bachelor's Degree in Aero Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline. C++, FORTRAN, and other programming language experience/knowledge needed. Past experience with simulation is preferred but not required. Past experience with one or more of the following: Flight Dynamics and/or Controls, Aerodynamic modeling, Engine modeling, Vehicle Weight, Balance and Inertia data generation is preferred. Ability to apply sound engineering principles and develop innovative solutions. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
