Software Engineer - Senior

Senior Software Engineer
The Senior User Interface Engineer will be a key developer on a small team tasked with implementing multiple web applications for both internal and customer-facing products.

The individual will report to the Director, User Interface Development.

The Senior User Interface Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Design Documentation for the User Interfaces.
Ongoing Design of new features for existing applications.
Hands on Coding of User Interfaces.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelors degree, ideally in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years experience designing and implementing user-friendly web based interfaces or applications.
At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering and a proven track record of quality, on-time delivery of software products.
At least 2 year of experience with the following technologies:
HTML
Apache Struts or similar MVC framework.
Javascript and DHTML (AJAX)
Apache Web Server
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Java Application Server (J2EE)
Linux/Unix

Additional Desirable Qualifications
Python Programming
Programming skills with embedded linux
Development experience with remotely managed or 'headless' systems
Experience with Windows application UI development in C/C++
