Software Engineer: Perl, MySQL Guru

We are looking for some world class engineers to join our team that is developing NetLine’s next-generation lead-generation and online marketing solutions. You must have strong analytical skills, fluency in coding, good communication skills and most of all enthusiasm for tackling the complex problems of scale that we deal with every day. Our team is working on a number of cutting-edge problems including dynamic, targeted content serving, targeted search, rolling out distributed, scalable, high-traffic web-applications and in-depth analytics. Our platform is primarily a LAMP stack, with some development in Java/J2EE. You will be working with our teams in Los Gatos and Chennai, India.
REQUIREMENTS
- A track record of strong individual technical accomplishments, and a strong academic record.
- Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly understand NetLine’s business and help define cutting edge solutions.
- Experience building industrial strength web-applications and an interest in AJAX and Web2.0 methodologies.
- Fluency in Perl in a UNIX/Linux environment. We will also consider Java and C++ experts.
- Strong experience with SQL and large databases in mission-critical environments.
- Proven track record for delivering products on time.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Interest in working with offshore development teams.
- BS or MS in Computer Science.
- 3-5 years work experience
