Software Engineer - Monitoring Solutions

Design and implement well-documented, testable, high quality code
Repair defects and maintain existing products
Participate in program and project team meetings

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in software, or 4 years industry experience in a software development environment
2+ years experience in Java software development, object oriented design experience, and network aware applications in Linux, Unix, or Windows
Ability to develop software from a well defined set of requirements
You must be willing to take a drug test
You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Experience developing medical devices
Excellent communication skills, oral & written
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills are needed along with the ability to work in a team environment
Full life cycle product development experience
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
Familiarity with Modern Design Patterns and experience with Component Design, a plus
Experience and/or related course work utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML)
Knowledge of FDA, MDD, IEC, and ISO regulations and guidelines also helpful
Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as Clear Case
