Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: Responsible for initial customer interface from service request creation to resolution or escalation to next level of technical support. Works directly with Healthcare customers to provide remote support via phone or electronic submitted service requests for Radiology Imaging Systems as a member of the GEHC National Service Center.Exemplifies "can do" attitude; self starter whom identifies gaps and provides solutionsContribute as a member of a world-class team providing 24x7 support to GEHC CustomersProactively Monitor Client Systems utilizing tools provided by GEHCAble to provide exceptional customer service and supportProvides quality solutions to all customer issuesUnderstands, adheres and enforces department technical and non-technical standardsAuthor and utilize articles in Knowledge baseIt is a 12 hr NIGHT SHIFT from 8 PM - 8 AM with shift differential.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Must possess an Associate in Computer Science, Electronics or Information Technologies, technical domain with minimum experience of 2 years or an equivalent experience of 5 years.Demonstrated networking skills, including understanding of OSI modelKnowledge of Windows 2000/2003 in server environmentsKnowledge of Operating Systems: Windows, Windows 2000/2003 ServerExposure or experience in database management especially Microsoft SQLServerDemonstrated strong customer interaction skills and customer focus.Ability to explain complex solutions to a varied audience ranging from highly technical to non-technical; general customer service experience.Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams.Must be willing to working a fast paced, critical situation environment.
