Software Engineer III

The Information Systems Division of the NAIC currently has an opening for a Software Engineer III. The programmer works individually as a project lead or as a member of a team to design, write, test and implement small to complex computer applications. This includes multiple projects that may cross teams. The programmer will mentor and train less experienced personnel within the team, consults and supports IS Managers to meet Division goals and objectives, as well as completes administrative tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or Associates Degree in Applied Science specific to Computer Science, and 5-8 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must have or obtain knowledge of the entire development life cycle; starting with the analysis, design, construction, implementation, and following it through to the evolution phases.
