Software Engineer II

Purpose: Job descriptions: Accomplish assigned tasks with only moderate supervision.
-Demonstrate good documentation discipline.
-Creation of software for testing and product release.
-Unit test & debug production software.
-Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
-Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
-Find creative solutions to moderately defined problems or directives.
-Participate in and/or lead design efforts.
-Create and test quality software personally and as part of a team.
-Estimate time and effort on projects and tasks.
-Practice good communication inside and outside the development team.
-Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks.

Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Software Development is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
- Must be fluent in C/C++.
- Knowledge and experience in Win32, with a preference for WinCE experience.
- Knowledge and experience in inter-process communications.
- Knowledge and experience in data communication standards and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet, wireless, USB, Firewire, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience in data structures.
- Knowledge and experience in network middleware.
- Experience and knowledge in design patterns is a plus.
- Good documentation and process discipline a must.
