Software Engineer I, II, Sr.-FS

people, we are currently seeking a Software Engineer I, II or Senior in our
Engineering department.



The responsibilities of this role include:



Design, develop, and maintain file systems for satellite TV embedded,
set-top box (STB) receivers.

Work within a software development team using change control and source
code management systems.

Work with test engineering and test validation groups to create test
plans and procedures.

Ability to document task specifications, design concepts and
implementation/test details.

job Requirements


Minimum qualifications to be considered are:



Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
equivalent combination of experience and education.



Engineer I - Meets minimum education requirements.

Engineer II - Meets minimum education requirements and 2+ years
experience in development of real-time software with the C language or
equivalent.

Sr. Engineer - Meets minimum education requirements and 4+ years
experience.


Experience:
File system development experience on Linux platforms. Prefer embedded
device driver and multi-threaded programming experience.



Skills:
Quick learner; ability to work in a team environment. Engineer II, Sr -
ability to mentor others.
