JOB SUMMARYThe .NET Software Engineer will determine requirements for various monitoring, operation, and business process tools for various teams within Echostar's Uplink Facilities. The .NET Software Engineer will design, implement, test, debug and document the above tools sets. The engineer will be required to develop client and server software modules for products operating on multiple Microsoft environments. The engineer will communicate both verbally and in writing to insure customers, peers, and management remain well informed. Create and follow standard procedures, plan multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on schedule.

Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
Given the mission critical nature of our applications, you must have the ability to work well under pressure, possess a strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually growing environment. Knowledge and experience developing applications with various Windows platforms. Must be competent with most of the following languages: C#, Java, VB.net, ASP, PHP, and HTML. Must be competent in developing applications that interface with a variety of relational databases including SQLServer, Postgres, and Oracle. An understanding of technology related to digital broadcast systems is favored. Must possess good problem-solving skills and an ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions.
•Typical Experience: 5 years minimum
•Degree: Bachelor of Science; or equivalent combination of experience and education
