Software Engineer

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: -Participate in a global team environment to develop and support the installed base of cardiac patient monitors.
Investigate field issues to determine root cause and identify corrective action options.
Enhance feature set of the patient monitors to maintain installed base competitiveness.
Design of real-time embedded software
Implement the software design in C.
Develop and execute unit tests and system tests to verify the design/implementation.
Develop supporting documentation for investigation, design, implementation, and verification.
Work across the entire software development lifecycle including high-level and detailed design, software implementation, and verification activities
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or 8 years of industry experience in the design, implementation, and test of real-time embedded C software
Minimum of 3 years experience with all aspects of the SW lifecycle
Minimum of 3 years experience with real-time software systems in a multi-tasking environment
You must be willing to take a drug test.

Clearcase configuration management.
DOORS Requirements Management Tool experience.
Scripting Languages - Perl, csh, etc.
