Job Description:
As a Software Engineer you will design, create, test, and deploy applications both on our tracker hardware (written in C) and for our server and client tools (written in Java). Help identify customer needs and follow through with design, test and implementation plans. Assist with all facets of development and business operations as needed.
• This position is located in our Tucson, Arizona facility.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong development experience with both Java and C.
• Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with network programming.
• Familiar with relational databases, especially MySQL and Oracle.
• Must be able to wear many hats and change tasks frequently.
• Must have US work permit or be a US Citizen.

Pluses:
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Programming practices.
• Experience with Web Services, Servlets, XML.
• Embedded programming experience and Linux kernel development.
• Experience with GPS/GIS mapping/tracking applications.
• Previous experience as a maintenance programmer.
