Software Development Analyst

REQUIRED SKILLS: Java, J2EE, Rational Unified Process (RUP), Secret Clearance (interim, expired and/or pending clearances acceptable)

DESIRED SKILLS: Rational Application Developer, WebSphere App Server 4.0 plus, Requisite Pro, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Swing, Struts,

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined
education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop software in support of the AIM, Account Transactions, and CFO functions within the AFEMS
program. The scope of tasks include assisting in analyzing requirements, assisting in the development of system use cases, code development and unit testing, and code documentation. Tasks may include development of user interface mock-ups and working with data modelers and database analysts as part of the design effort. Assist in software integration testing, assist the software formal test team as required, and troubleshoot and correct software as required.

STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION: Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications
software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have Java, J2EE and Rational Rose Models experience. A security clearance is required for this position. It can be an active, interim, expired or pending clearance.
