Software Design Engineers

Job Duties:

· Design, code, debug, and test software components and products on Windows and various Unix/Linux platforms independently in a high-availability, high performance environment.

· Implementation of MicroStrategy product features through entire lifecycle of feature development. This includes input on design specs, actual implementation of functionality, testing, analyzing and optimizing the implementation.

· Individual must have ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or Ph. D in Computer Science or engineering disciplines. GPA 3.5+.

· Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems and other fundamental Computer Science concepts.

· Strong object-oriented design and development skills.

· Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills is required

· Strong knowledge of Web technologies including Java, J2EE, XML, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and DHTML is required. Experience Action Script, Flex environments is a strong plus.

· A strong aesthetic sense for building Web-based Graphical User Interfaces and Graphic design skills is desirable

· Good communication skills and ability to work well with teams of people.
