Software Design Engineer - Rapid Development

Purpose:
Expedia's Rapid Development team is looking for software engineers!

Responsibilities
Design and implement robust C++/Java software solutions to small but high-impact changes/features to Expedia's websites.
Investigate real issues occurring in our production environment.
Debug/fix pre-ship bugs in your own code and Expedia's broader codebase.
Work with Program Management and Test to identify correct business solutions to pressing problems and ensure high test quality.
Add your personal mark to innovation on processes and code in Expedia's developer community.
Learn/pioneer adoption for new development technologies at Expedia.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related fields.
C/C++ coding experience
Java experience not required but definitely a plus
Windows, XML, SQL, core software development methodologies a plus
Finally... Enthusiasm and ability to learn!
