We currently have an opportunity for a Software Applications Manager to support the Sales, Marketing and Engineering business units throughout Zebra Technologies. Position is located in Vernon Hills, IL.

Position Purpose: The Software Applications Manager is responsible for comprehensive life cycle management of software applications for use with Zebra products.
Responsibilities:reconciles and processes internal and external inputsestablishes product direction, coordinates and communicates the software product plans between departments.read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.effectively present information and questions from senior management, managers, clients and customers.define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.assess complex market landscapes and create focused, integrated product plan.create and implement product plans, with a proven track record of success.mentors, guides and coaches Product Specialists.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree - Technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science.MBA is preferred5-10 years of IT integration experience in large enterprisesminimum of 3-5 years of product management experience in managing 1 or more software product lines.executive understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models.
