Software Application Engineer

Jaybeam Wireless, a leader in the design and manufacture of wireless antennas, is growing rapidly and recruiting for the following position:

Software Application Engineer
The successful candidate will be an independent critical thinker responsible for the design of GUI driven end user application software for database management and access, graphical report generation and serial communication port hardware control. We provide a dynamic team environment requiring a broad range of application development. Knowledge of GPIB, IS-485, and USB interface protocols would also be valued. Web design experience is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s (BS) degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Two to five years of software industry experience on a shipping product.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
Strong communication skills.
Leadership qualities are desirable.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively across numerous departments.
Experience with C/C++, Visual Studio, Java.
Solid knowledge in scripting with PHP desired.
Application knowledge of MySQL and Apache.
Knowledge of source code management systems.
