Server Systems Administrator

Florida Health Care Plans is seeking a Server Systems Administrator for the Holly Hill facility.



Installs, configures and maintains organization's operating systems on Intel Architecture Servers. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware, server operating systems, and server applications software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports server-related problems on all Microsoft and Linux based systems. Performs a wide variety of tasks in software/hardware maintenance, and operational support of Windows and Linux Server systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree/technical certification in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology or equivalent experience and 3 years experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
Strong working knowledge of Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003, and Windows administration required
Basic installation and administration of SQL, Oracle, and Access databases required.
Experience working with Linux, Aix, or UNIX is preferred.
MCSE and Network Plus preferred.
Strong oral and written communication, organization, problem solving, critical thinking, and ability to work without direct supervision
Ability to meet deadlines
