Senior Wireless Network Engineer

A full service technology solutions company has two openings for Senior Wireless Network Engineers – one in New York and one in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities
Design, install and support wireless solutions for many clients in the tri-state area
Document customer wireless network solutions, configurations, and operational instructions
Support and monitor customer wireless networks
Pre Sales Engineering, able to develop wireless solutions and detailed proposals
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experience
Minimum of 5 years of related experience; Vocera experience a plus
Extensive Knowledge in Wireless LAN's and network security required
Cisco IOS experience required
Networks: Cisco internal and external wireless products, Dragon Wave, Tearbeam, Bridgewave and Proxim external wireless products, knowledge of other general network products (Cisco Catalyst, LD, ASA, VOIP)
Certifications: Cisco Wireless, CCDA
Overall working knowledge of system architecture, redundancy and fault tolerance, databases, personal computer hardware, local area networks, wireless networking, IP Voice Solutions, and cabling topologies
Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and work during unusual hours
Strong verbal and written communication skills; client oriented and service minded; team player; good project management and time management skills
