Senior Systems Engineer (MCSE)

Job Description
We are currently seeking Senior Systems Engineers to work on the roll out of OPTV Platform on the MSFT server side. Candidates will be responsible for working within a skilled and diverse team of support personnel with similar skills to both establish and maintain a complex and evolving customer facing Microsoft based broadband and IPTV service. This role will focus on the duties of research, diagnosis and documentation of a new installation of Microsoft IPTV.

Primary Responsibilities
This position is located within a tier 3 Technical Assistance Center.
Microsoft Server administration skills will be used daily in this role as well as needing to have knowledge and experience in a variety of other Microsoft disciplines such as performance monitoring and maintenance, Active Directory, SMS deployment strategies and using Microsoft MOM to survey large numbers of servers and resolve issues in a proactive manner.
Must be highly motivated, able to quickly identify and analyze problems, and clearly articulate the likely path forward to resolution.
Must also have an appreciation and complete understanding for rigid change management processes, a commitment to customer service, provide continuous system availability and have an ability to think logically and methodically in a crisis.

Qualifications
Current MCSE 2003 certification is required.
Must have Tier 3 support experience.
Must have working knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, application support and server support.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
This position will perform 24/7 support and require shift work (4 10hr days, 3days off, 4 on, rotating weekends and holidays).
