Senior Systems Architect

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $95000 to $110000 per year Position Summary: Designs, documents and implements technical architecture across multiple platforms, languages, and applications on an enterprise level. Provides leadership for researching emerging technologies. Works collaboratively with multiple teams, information technology and business in providing leadership on systems projects. Focus is on systems integration and solving architecture and business problems.Position Responsibilities:1.Responsible for overall system architecture framework.
2.Defines system architecture standards for the design and deployment of solutions.
3.Coordinates the development of operational systems architectures covering the key elements of availability, reliability and scalability.
4.Analyzes, investigates, designs and implements technical solutions in support of business initiatives.
5.Lead on systems integration and solving architecture and operating system, database and middleware problems in the integrated systems environments.
6.Reviews technical requirements along with development and project plans for adherence to standards.
7.Provides technical leadership in supporting IT initiatives.
8.Conducts and coordinates the research of emerging technologies.
9.Lead role in performance analysis and load testing in technical review and certification process.
10.Participates in hardware and software evaluation in technical advisory capacity.
11.Conduct internal training and knowledge transfer sessions to increase the organizations systems literacy.
12.Mentor IT staff and foster a learning environment.
13.Assist senior IT management in the planning, scheduling, estimating and costing of projects.
14.Responsible for project management of assigned projects.
