Full Job Title: Senior System Engineer / Assessment Analyst / DEEI-V Skills Management Title Systems EngineeringJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: As a member of the National Team, the Senior Engineer/Assessment Analyst will provide Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) modeling and analysis support, appraisal, and summary. The candidate must be familiar with the BMDS and advanced technology systems. The assessment support required includes architecture trade-off and capability performance assessments, systems analysis of weapons, sensors and BMC3 and analysis of threat sensitivities leading to an overall assessment of BMDS capabilities. The work effort will include utilizing or evaluating products and outputs from existing models and simulations developed to support complex system and architecture level assessments. The desired individual will support detailed BMDS analysis, contribute to the design of assessment matrices and craft guidance to the elements and various MDA agencies for providing information to support capability assessments. Competencies REQUIRED: The preferred candidate must have experience in modeling and simulation of DoD systems, sensors, weapons or BMC3 systems with a minimum of 21years general systems engineering experience and 10 years specific MDA engineering experience. You should possess a strong analysis and assessment background, strong technical initiative, experience in operational and technical analysis of defense systems, and experience using modeling and simulation to conduct predictive and constructive analysis/assessments. In addition you will need an ability to work in a rapid paced environment, to condense complex issues to key points, and to brief these points to senior leadership. PREFERRED: An individual with MD War or Wilma experience is desired. A background in ground and flight-testing of complex systems, including T&E planning, execution, analysis, assessment, reporting, and knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, M&S tool development and requirements analysis leading to a defined capability assessment is highly desirable.
