Senior Storage Engineer

-Participate as a project team member for multiple projects to gather storage requirements, design, recommend, and implement the right storage solution based upon best practices and company standards.
-Work with the OS Support Teams to resolve any O/S, hardware or network based issues that may impact optimal performance of SAN.
-Understand, design and implement quotas in a NAS environment.
-Develop and maintain proper reporting and monitoring of utilization of the NAS environment
-Maintain a DR and SNAP environment for the NAS systems.
-Install, configuration and general operation of EMC Control Center
-Install, configuration and general operation of EMC PowerPath
-Assure proper data protection is in place such as RAID, SRDF, BCV, SNAP, and backup.
-Scripting experience preferred
REQUIREMENTS
-5+ years of Storage administration experience
-Must possess a strong understanding of how enterprise storage interacts with a variety of Operating Systems and databases.
-Extensive Experience with EMC Hardware: Symmetrix, CLARiiON, Connectrix, Celerra, Centera
-Extensive Experience with Network Appliance NAS solutions.
-Extensive Experience with ECC (EMC Control Center), PowerPath, TimeFinder, SymCLI, symconfigure, SRDF, EMC Snap, StorageScope, SymOptimizer, SymmPath, SymmConnect, Proxy Copy etc.
