Senior Software / Systems Engineer

Senior Software / Systems EngineerASEG Inc., a systems engineering and software development company, seeks a Senior Software / Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This candidate should be experienced in developing high performance, high availability solutions. The candidate must also have a solid understanding of Solaris, Linux, SAN & NAS standards and hands-on experience with one or more of NetApp, Sun (STK), IBM, EMC, Cisco, and QLogic. Experience with grid computing and other technologies applicable to high performance technical computing systems desired.
Job Summary for Senior Software / Systems Engineer:The Senior Software / Systems Engineer will:Design, implement, optimize, large-scale storage solutions.
Design and implement grid computing.
Install and configure SAN software.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
Produce architecture and design drawings such as ‘wiring diagrams’ and rack elevation diagrams.
Requirements for Senior Software / Systems Engineer:Eight years’ hands-on experience spanning initial analysis to deployment and support.
Experience with large scale HPTC programs.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
