Senior Software Engineer, User Interface - MediaFLO

Job Area: Project/Product ManagementRole: As the Outsourcing Program Lead, you will be responsible for characterizing the division outsourcing requirements and design & implementation of the outsourcing program. The program is likely to include identification of outsourcing project candidates, development of the partner acquisition and qualification process, creation of the partner orientation and setup processes, creation of legal agreements, etc.Implementation of the program will require working with teams across the division for various activities, acting as a central coordination point for work prioritization, direction, etc. You will also be responsible for establishing a method to evaluate and report on program effectiveness.Once the program is in place, you will support new partner qualification, and upon partner selection, manage the fulfillment of new partner orientation and service setup requests. On a periodic basis, review program for priority enhancements and maintain ongoing management reporting on program effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Experience: - Eight plus years experience in partner management in the high tech industry, including experience contracting for software development work products.
Seven plus years experience in product management, development, or product commercialization.
Prior experience with setting up an outsourcing program from partner selection to the successful completion of a project is a strong plus.
Experience with development or deployment of client server solutions required.
Understanding of the wireless industry a plus.
Broad understanding of contract terms and conditions and various partnership affiliations, channel management experience a plus.
Proven ability to collaboratively work in dynamic, multi-group, multi-disciplinary environments.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, problem resolution, and presentation skills.Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Information Technology and/or Mechanical Engineering required.
Master's degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Information Technology and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred.@HJ
