Senior Software Engineer / Programmer - C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET

Megasys Inc. is a leading provider of financial accounting software for the consumer lending industry.

Megasys is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to take a senior role in the design and development of a enterprise-class web based application.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the development cycle and must have expert level experience in building multi-tiered applications using C# and ASP.NET. This job is temporary, with a term of 18 to 24 months. This job may become permanent depending on company needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating user friendly and easily maintainable web applications, and will have the drive to stay current on new and emerging technologies. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required, as well as extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET 2.0, ADO.NET 2.0, T/SQL, CSS, and XHTML. Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional Microsoft Development experience, and possess the ability to architecture and design multi-tier applications. Good oral and written communication skills is a must, as is a commitment to software development life cycle processes. Experience with SOAP, Web Services, AJAX, .netTiers, Microsoft Enterprise Library 2.0, and popular 3rd party web controls and reporting tools a plus. Some overtime is required.

Base pay rate is $74,000 per year. Total cash compensation, including base pay, overtime pay and bonus will be approximately $90,000 per year. Megasys Inc. also provides a full benefit package including health care (medical, dental and vision), life insurance and a 401k retirement savings program.
