Senior Research Engineer

Develop proposals for programs in Structural engineering; develop test plans and procedures; analyze data and present results in written reports and oral presentations; develop technology program in oilfield structures and systems testing; compose and present papers at technical symposia.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a BS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related field and 3 years experience in oilfield structures. Must be familiar with pressure, strain, and load sensing instrumentation; experience with computer aided data acquisition systems (LabVIEW preferred); able to perform computer aided design (Pro-E preferred); knowledge of upstream petroleum equipment, structural design, instrumentation and fluid power; experience in the petroleum or associated industries preferred. NOTE: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
