Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Viewpoint Corporation is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to define, execute and record the results of application testing. Goals include: preparing required test cases and matrices, documenting expected results, performing the tests, and logging results. We are looking for someone to develop testing methods not just carry out existing methods.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer directly supports an application development group. Responsibilities will require working with developers. This is a full time position, on-site, in Manhattan.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
3+ years of QA experience.
Ability to manage other team members on a project-to-project basis.
Ability to multi-task, work within a team of developers, project managers and other QA engineers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with industry standard compilers and tools (e.g. Perforce, C++, CodeWarrior, bug tracking, test automation).
Knowledge of and proficiency in one or more of these web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Perl, XML, Apache, or Internet security.
Familiarity with 3D software (e.g. 3D Studio Max) and computer graphics.
Expertise in Mac & Windows platforms a must.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
