Senior Plant Instrumentation/Electrician Technician

Job requirements include being able to repair and maintain electrical equipment. The successful candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair motor control circuitry, control wiring, single phase and 3-phase, 110-480 volt systems. Duties will also include working with motors, plc controls, field instruments, VFD drives, generators, and must have knowledge of basic electrical codes. Must be able to replace motor bearings and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.





Qualifications for this position are as follows; Vocational school or junior technical college training in Instrumentation/Process Control or 5 years of experience in mining or heavy industry with a strong background in controls and instrumentation desired. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, able to read blue prints and schematics as well as mechanical math and reading skills.
