Oracle DBA
Required:
•Candidate must have 5+ years of database administration experience
•Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Candidate must have full life-cycle experience as a database administrator
•Experience with production preparedness is a must
•Experience with production support on high volume databases is must
•Experience with high volume databases with partition data is required
•Performance and tuning experience with large transaction volume is required
•Strong design and database architecture skills are required
•An understanding of relational model is required
•Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
•Candidate must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
•Candidate must be able to work with development and operations teams in a consultant role.
•Experience working with UNIX servers is required
•Oracle PL/SQL experience with batch processing applications is required


Additional:
•Experience with database configuration practices and procedures
•Experience with Oracle’s object-relational extensions
•Knowledge of Oracle replication strategies
•Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design techniques is desired
•Experience in information architecture is strongly desired, but not required
•Experience with group facilitation, or leading design sessions is desired
