Senior OO Call Processing Software Engineer

ESI is looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to join their fast-paced next-generation call processing team. Call Processing software engineers work within the ESI engineering team to develop advanced product technologies and include these in market-leading business communication systems.
The candidate will be an integral team member responsible for the design, development, documentation, and testing of our new next-generation CallP software application for the ESI telephony communications devices (see product descriptions at www.esi-estech.com). Close interaction with Product Assurance and Product Management is also required. Our environment is fast-paced and based on agile methodologies (Scrum, XP). The daily work environment at ESI is characterized by teamwork, collaboration, and interaction with highly talented engineers to solve complex product development challenges.Position is full-time, US citizen or green card holder only.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•BSCS or BSCE
•Work-related expertise in use case approach and deriving a system-wide object model from use cases
•Expertise in object-orientation (OO)
•Minimum of 5 years developing and testing telcom software applications in C++
•Experience developing CallP features and state machines
•Strong design, analysis, debug, and trouble-shooting skills
•Working knowledge of tools for embedded environments (compilers, source control, defect tracking, debuggers, etc.)
•Understanding of both the practical and theoretical aspects of real-time design including multi-threading, race conditions, semaphores, memory management, etc.
•Contemporary software engineering skills and knowledge
•Application of effective processes throughout the software development cycle
•Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have strong communication skills, and work in a multidisciplinary team environmentThe following additional skills will distinguish a candidate:

-PBX telephony experience
-Familiarity with PC development environment
