Senior Manager, Aerospace and Defense

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager with Aerospace and Defense Industry work experience for our Dallas office.Candidates for this position should have Aerospace and Defense industry work experience that fits in to one of KPMG’s Advisory Service lines.These service lines include:
Information Risk Management – This could include information technology management or information technology internal audit management experience.

Internal Audit Services – This could include internal audit management experience with an “A&D” company.

Regulatory & Compliance – This could include work experience as a government compliance manager in the A&D industry.

CFO Advisory Services – This could include work experience in the controllership or program management function in the A&D industry.

Operations Risk Management – This could include work experience in business operations management within an A&D company.Responsibilities:
High quality professional day-to-day management and execution of advisory engagements providing for the improvement or redesign of financial and accounting processes and internal controls including budgeting and forecasting, close and consolidation, financial reporting, shared services/outsourcing, or information technology processing functions

Assist in the creation and execution of new business development plans

Assist in the creation of proposals, business development activities, and practice administration functions such as scheduling and training

Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Ten years of work experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university

CPA, CIA, CISA (or equivalent) certification

Knowledge of government contract regulations and requirements

Knowledge of risk and opportunity management

Strong communication and presentation skills

Solid leadership and mentoring ability

Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, at times, with relatively short notice
