Our newest client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to carry the responsibility for the design, development and sustaining engineering of key components of our client key product and associated technology. This product is a J2EE application written in Java and developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology.
REQUIREMENTS

· You currently live in the immediate San Francisco Bay Area and are willing to commute to Fremont (not BART Accessible).
· You are currently eligible to work in the United States without Sponsorship
· Must have at least five (5) years practical experience in:
v Java/J2EE technologies (Java Enterprise Application Development,including JSP, Servlets, EJB, Taglibs, JDBC)
· Track record of designing and developing scalable web applications
· Strong expertise with OO design and development
· In-depth Experience with at least one of the following application servers: JBoss, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere and cross-application-server development (knowledge of xdoclet is a plus)
· Hands-on Experience in web application technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS, Struts)
· Experience in XML technologies (SOAP, XML, XSLT)
· Practical experience in *Unit testing tools (JUnit, HttpUnit, JWebUnit, Cactus)
· Practical experience with XP (or any other agile methodology) is definitely a plus
· Hands-on experience with at least one of the following databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2
· Practical experience with Linux as a development platform
· Experience with other Java frameworks (e.g. Hibernate) a plus
