Senior FPGA Engineer

Thales Communications, Inc. currently has an opening for a Senior FPGA Engineer in our Clarksburg, MD facility. The candidate will be a member of our FPGA team and responsible for developing the FPGA portion of our military wireless communication products.

Responsibilities:
May include high-level and detailed design, implementation, integration and test.
REQUIREMENTS
US Citizenship required. Applicants selected may be subjected to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

5+ years experience in FPGA development
Proficient in Verilog and VHDL
Experience with major FPGA vendor technologies
Experience with FPGA tools such as Symplicity synthesis and timing analysis
Experienced in writing technical specifications
Digital signal processing and/or mixed signal systems is a plus BSEE is required. MSEE preferred
