PROJECT MANAGER – Water / Wastewater Engineering

Immediate opening for an accomplished Water / Wastewater Engineer!


Our client is a nationally recognized firm. We are looking for candidates who are serious about joining a leader in the water / wastewater industry. They are experiencing continuous growth in their Southern California offices, with a serious backlog and upcoming projects. The company is technically involved in large-scale water resource projects. The Environmental / Water Resource group is actively interviewing top notch Civil Engineers who have shown excellent progressive career growth and stability. This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer with a technical background to expand their capabilities, assist Junior Engineers and take advantage of the growing Environmental Engineering marketplace.

POSITION DUTIES

The candidate will be working closely with Jr. Engineers and Team Leaders to assist in the technical problems. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for keeping the project in budget, finding cost cutting solutions, and working closely with local city agencies. Additionally, the Project Manager must be an aggressive marketer who can be involved in the identification of other markets and business development.

REQUIREMENTS


REQUIREMENTS

·MS in Environmental Engineering or related

·California licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

·5-15 years of Water / Wastewater or related Environmental experience

·Technical engineering analysis / design of municipalities

·Managed complex water resource projects

·Experience with permitting / interaction with public agencies

·Career progression

·Managed teams

·Business development experience a plus
