Senior Engineer--Operations, Administration & Management

Responsibilities: As a member of our OA&M team, you will be responsible for design and development of scalable, robust, and state-of-the-art Network Management software for our Network products. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding and hands-on experience in building a highly-available (HA) distributed Network/Element Management system; excellent in JAVA programming, Unix/Linux OS, Web-based GUI, XML and scripting, hands-on experience in C/C++; and is excited by the challenge of delivering cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, startup environment.

•Enhancement of Configuration and Performance Management system
•Enhancement of NMS Platform (includes Security and Fault management subsystems)
•Enhancement of NMS interface to manage new hardware platform.
•Responsible for driving integration testing efforts
•Responsible for supporting Customer Satisfaction efforts in Carrier deployments

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

•4+ years of design and development engineering experience in Network Management (preferably in telecom/wireless space)
•6+ years of overall software engineering experience in distributed system with emphasis on Software Management and Scalability aspects
•J2EE with Web based GUI (JSP/Javascripts/Servlets) and XML experience is desired.
•Strong experience in Java on UNIX/Linux is required.
•Should have strong C, C++, Shell scripting language skills.
•Experience with ATCA/HPI interface (standard HPI SNMP MIBs) is a big plus
•MySQL Database experience is a big plus.
•JBoss AS/J2EE and Eclipse IDE experience is a big plus.
•Experience in supporting deployment of products in a wireless network is desired
•Excellent communication skills and a highly motivated team player
