We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software / Control System Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software controlled subsystems on agricultural equipment. You will:

•Create, develop and maintain software per our Embedded Software Development Process.
•Develop functional specifications for subsystems.
•Translate functional specifications into software requirements.
•Lead and participate in functional/subsystem design/test/code reviews and document results.
•Verify that subsystem with software meets requirements, through a combination of virtual and hardware based testing including; static bench, vehicle simulator and machine testing.
•Provide necessary design documentation and documentation to support development of service publications.
•Provide technical leadership to more junior team members.
•Support electronic hardware design group with requirements.
•Provide technical support during system field-testing activities on an as needed basis.
•Provide technical support to Product Support, Marketing and other groups.
•Support control system design and analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Education
•Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Required Skills and Experience
•High level of proficiency w/ C/C++ programming language and software development tools for embedded micro-controllers.
•Experience in electro-mechanical / electro-hydraulic subsystem design and software development.
•Experience with electronic circuit test tools and simulation tools to assist in analysis and verification of functional/subsystem design.
•Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work in a team environment.
•Must be able to handle multiple tasks and a very dynamic environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
•Experience with agriculture or construction equipment applications of embedded software control.
•Experience with control system design and analysis.
•Experience with embedded software auto test and auto code generation.
